                      Ingredients
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1-2 teaspoons local raw honey
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 
1/2-inch piece of fresh turmeric, diced, or ½ tsp of turmeric powder 
- 
1-inch piece of fresh ginger, diced, or ½ tsp of ginger powder 
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of black pepper
Directions
- Boil 2 cups of water 
- While the water is boiling, dice the fresh turmeric and fresh ginger 
- Add the diced turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and black pepper in a teapot or heat proof container 
- Pour the boiling water over the ingredients and let steep for 10-15 minutes 
- Strain the tea into a cup 
- Add the lemon juice and honey to the tea. Stir well until the honey is fully dissolved 
- Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey if desired

This tea is great but i prefer to leave out the lemon. Next time ill add a bag of green tea.
I was surprised by the low star rating as this tea is both refreshing and comforting at the same time. I used fresh ginger and turmeric and also a cinnamon stick instead of the powder which maybe made a difference, but this will be a go-to drink for me
