Weight Loss and Fertility

We all have different motivations for weight loss. While some just want to feel better by shedding some unwanted pounds they have put on over the holidays, others want to lose weight because they are trying to start a family.

Forget “fertility foods;” contrary as it may seem, if you really want to get pregnant actually losing some weight can be the key! This is true not only for women! Both women and men alike can improve their fertility through weight loss.

In a landmark study, a Harvard research team found that female participants who simply changed their diet reduced the risks of infertility by 80%!

We at Betr had the pleasure to work with Heather Johnson, who – against all odds – gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in 2012. Heather was 34 years-old when she started our program and was able to lose a total of 42 lbs!

Her message to you? “If they can do it, I can do it…and if I CAN DO IT – ANYONE CAN DO IT!!!”
