MICROWAVE BEST PRACTICES:

For reheating in the microwave, the best practices are to spoon or fork out your desired portions onto a plate and microwave one minute per serving size. Each tray is considered four serving sizes. Therefore a whole tray would be four minutes in the microwave. Use your own judgement on how you like things cooked depending on your microwave.

 

REHEATING FROZEN BEST PRACTICES:

All the prepared meals, including side veggies are freezer friendly! Reheating Frozen? Pop them into an insta pot with 1/2 cup of low sodium vegetable broth and steam for 7-10 mins. Or covered on stove top with 1/3 cup of low sodium vegetable broth and cook on low for 10-15 mins. Defrost in refrigerator for 5-6 hours and follow below reheating times:

Eggplant Lasagna

  • Microwave is not recommended, can make the meat texture more tough.

  • Stove top or grill works best based on client reviews. Saute in a pan or place on grill lightly sprayed with grape seed oil over medium heat for about 3 minutes.

  • Microwave for 1-2 minutes, check and flip burger after 60 seconds.

Wings

  • Oven or insta-pot works best based on client reviews. Cook in oven at 425 for 15 minutes on a lightly greased baking sheet and then broil for 2-3 minutes on low.

  • Member Jill recommends the “Air fryer by a long slide! They do have the sauce on them so I wrapped in tin foil. Used chicken setting and cooked around 15 mins in air fryer.”
