Poached Halibut

Ingredients

  • ½ cup low sodium organic vegetable broth
  • 1 lb halibut
  • 1 lemon Juiced.
  • 1 tbsp red onion Chopped.
  • 1 clove fresh garlic Minced.
  • ¼ tsp fresh ginger
  • ¼ tsp Himalayan pink sea salt
  • to taste ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Heat up the broth to a simmer in a small pan that has a secure cover.
  • Add fish, lemon juice, onion, garlic, and seasonings to the pan.
  • Cover and cook halibut in the simmering broth for 5-10 minutes until fish is tender when prodded with a fork and cooked through.
  • You can also wrap ingredients in aluminum foil, close tightly, and bake at 350° F for 10-15 minutes.
