There are a few elements to add maximum enjoyment to your salads! There are 3 things that make foods addictive, combining the tastes of fat, sweetness, and saltiness. Have FUN with it! The more you associate PLEASURE with eating healthy foods your brain will start to crave it.Get creative and add your own toppings! We love to add lots of texture to salads with hemp seeds and chia seeds.

 

Betr Level 1 Tried and True Side Salad

Ingredients

Servings: 1

  • 1 cup Mixed greens
  • 1/2  cup Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1/4 Diced Red Onion
  • 2 tsp. Bragg’s Vinegarette

 

Edamame Mixed Green Salad

Ingredients

Servings: 1

  • 1 cup Spinach or Mixed Greens
  • 1/2 cup Shelled Edamame
  • 1/2  cup Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup Bell Peppers
  • 1/4 Diced Red Onion
  • 2 tsp. Bragg’s Ginger Sesame Vinaigrette

 

Quinoa Mixed Green Side Salad

Ingredients

Servings: 1

  • 1 cup Baby Kale or Mixed Greens
  • 1/2 cup Cooked Quinoa
  • 1/2  cup Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup Radish Sprouts
  • 1/4 Diced Red Onion
  • 2 tsp.  Bragg’s Vinaigrette

 

These two are actually stand alone salads! They are great with soups on level one. I love to prep a bunch at once- it’s SUPER easy to slam a few these together.

  • The edamame and quinoa salads don’t include those items in the recipes. Why is that? Plus the name of several of the salads have mixed greens in the title but don’t have mixed greens as one of the main ingredients.
