This betr dish is packed with flavor, thanks to the tender and juicy chicken that's marinated in a blend of herbs and spices before hitting the grill. The crisp lettuce leaves serve as the perfect vessel for holding all the tasty ingredients, like fresh veggies and tangy sauces.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon Pink Himalayan salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 head butter or romaine lettuce, leaves separated and washed
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
Directions
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat
Mix avocado oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Coat the chicken breasts with this mixture
Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side or until fully cooked. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into thin strips
Place a few strips of grilled chicken on each lettuce leaf to assemble the wraps. Top with cherry tomatoes, avocado, red onion, and cilantro
Squeeze lime juice over the top and serve immediately
Recipe Note
Baking/oven alternative:
Preheat oven to 400 °F
Bake the chicken for 20-25 minutes or until fully cooked. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into thin strips.
