Ingredients

1 ½ to 2 cups or one small-to-medium jicama, cut into spears
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil

1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt

Betr Ketchup for serving

2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped (for topping, optional)
Directions
Air-Fryer Method
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for 3 minutes.
Toss the jicama spears with avocado oil, paprika, garlic powder, and pink Himalayan salt until evenly coated.
- Arrange the jicama spears in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
- Air-fry for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the fries are golden and slightly crispy on the edges.
Top with cilantro (optional) and serve warm with Betr Ketchup on the side.
Oven Method
Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss the jicama spears with avocado oil, paprika, garlic powder, and pink Himalayan salt until evenly coated.
- Spread the jicama in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring the spears aren’t overcrowded.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and slightly tender but still crisp.
