Ingredients
- 2 lb pork tenderloin
- 1/3 cup organic honey
- 1/2 cup organic Dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp Himalayan pink sea salt
Directions
- In a medium bowl, combine honey, mustard and spices.
Place pork tenderloin in a resealable bag and pour the marinade in over it. Seal the bag and massage to ensure even coating of the tenderloin
Refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours
Lightly oil grill to prevent the marinade from sticking
Remove meat from the marinade and grill on medium heat for 15 to 25 minutes, turning the meat occasionally during the process to cook evenly
When a meat thermometer placed in the center of the thickest part of the tenderloin reads 145°, remove it from the grill and set aside to rest for 10 minutes. This will allow juices to evenly distribute
- Slice and serve
Recipe Note
Alternatively, roast the pork tenderloin in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). The exact time may vary depending on the thickness of the tenderloin. If you prefer a caramelized glaze, you can baste the pork with additional honey halfway through the cooking time.
