First time I left out the pepper flakes and it was bland. The pepper does not make it spicy but adds flavor. Make sure you roll out thin and make sure it is well baked before adding veggies and cooking them until done. I also used tomato paste with Italian seasoning. The marinara sauce made the crust too soggy. It gets better every time I make it and helps to kill my pizza craving.

I suggest using a hefty amount of flax meal. These stuck to the parchment even though I used flax meal. But they are really delicious!
