Lesson 3 - Seated Pose

Props you may like (optional): Two blocks (or books), or a chair for forward folding. Welcome to the first lesson of our course, where we will explore the foundational pose of Tadasana, or standing mountain pose. Begin by finding your center of gravity between the balls and heels of your feet, creating a stable base to work from. As you ground down through your feet, feel the energy rising up through your body, elongating your spine and finding a sense of lift in your posture. Focus on extending through the crown of your head, keeping the shoulders relaxed and away from the ears. This pose teaches us to embody strength and stability while maintaining a sense of ease and grace.
