Lesson 6 - Sun Salutation B

Welcome to our lesson on Surya Namaskar B, also known as Sun Salutation B. This sequence is a popular way to warm up the body at the beginning of a yoga class.

Just like Surya Namaskar A, this flow consists of a series of poses that are linked together to create a flowing movement. Sun Salutation B adds on to the poses in Sun Salutation A, incorporating Chair Pose (Utkatasana) and Warrior I (Virabhadrasana I) to further engage the legs and core.

This sequence is a great way to build strength and flexibility in the body while also connecting with the breath. As you practice, remember that there are modifications available for different body types. It's essential to find the variation that works best for you to ensure a safe and fulfilling practice.
