Baked Tofu Fingers are a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional chicken fingers. These crispy and flavorful tofu sticks are perfect for dipping and make a great appetizer, snack, or main dish.
Ingredients
- 1 pound extra-firm tofu (rinsed, drained, and pressed dry)
- 1/2 tbsp low or no sodium herbal seasoning of choice
- 1 cup nutritional yeast
Directions
Slice the tofu block in half and then into "fingers", lay out on a flat surface. Sprinkle with seasoning of choice
Pour nutritional yeast in a mound on a seperate plate and coat tofu fingers, rolling them gently in the nutritional yeast
Set aside. Once all tofu fingers are evenly coated, place on a baking sheet. Bake at 375 until golden brown- approximately 20-30 minutes
Recipe Note
You can pan fry in a tablespoon of avocado oil for 5 min if you are in a hurry to cut down cooking time, but baking them is preferred.
