A Food as Medicine Movement

We are going to put a permanent pause on your dieting, calorie counting and flipping tires in parking lots to bring you a much easier and more relaxing way to feel great. If you can simply try to follow along for a few days, your body will do the rest.

Our soul purpose is to make sure that this is the most empowering health experience of your life.

Like a fingerprint, each person’s gut is unique. Even seemingly healthy foods may be working against you. We will work to restore your gut health, while uncovering the foods that help you convert fat to energy and improve your weight, mood, and sleep. Your individual health history and environment are also different and vary from day to day. This is why those expensive diets, fads, and medical tests leave most of us feeling more frustrated.

Our process begins by restoring your internal chemistry and vitality. It may seem intimidating at first, but keep in mind that it is only temporary and just one part of building a better you!

What to Expect
Expect to convert fat to energy while improving your sleep, energy and mood.
Step 1 - Three Simple Days To Start
It's all about using delicious food as medicine. You and your coach will make it work for your time, budget and need.
Step 2 - Cook At Home. Eat Out. Order In.
Prepare a few meals for the start of your first week. If you don't have time to cook you can eat out or use our fresh meal delivery service.
Step 3 - Level Up
Level One foods are proven to lower inflammation and improve your digestive health. During Level 2, dial in your top performing foods. Keep logging weight, sleep, mood, food and activity to get the best results. These will be data driven decisions that empower you to break plateaus and get the most out your body for life.
Step 4 - Next Level
With all your new energy you will continue to challenge yourself to up your healthy lifestyle. For some that could be walking up two flights of stairs without getting winded and for others it could be climbing the foot hills in Colorado.

No Time to Cook?

These trays can be heated and served or frozen for later use. Each tray feeds 2-3 adults and the food is absolutely delicious while designed perfectly with the Betr Health food protocol.

Most frequent questions and answers

On average, our clients lose 5%-7% of their body weight in the first month.  Your overall results will depend on your goals and how closely you stick to your plan. 

You will have two 1-1 calls with your coach before you get started to ensure that you know how to navigate the app and are prepared to start. Your coach will check in with you at least once a day M-F. If you have any questions that need a quick response you can use our Instachat coaching where we have coaches online for real-time support M-F from 9am-8pm EST and on weekends! 

The first month is all about healing internally. In fact, oftentimes exercise can be counterproductive to weight loss and could be holding you back. 

Absolutely! This is meant for the whole family. You can make recipes in bulk to feed everyone, plus have some to freeze as leftovers. Great examples of family favorite recipes are our Sweet and Spicy Wings, Meatballs, Sloppy Joes, Egg Roll in a Bowl and Vegetable Crockpot Stew to name a few :).

At Betr, we DO NOT count calories, weight or portion out amounts.  We do not subscribe to “Move More, Eat Less”.  Instead, we prefer “Eat More, Stress Less.”  By eating high-quality foods, you’ll soon realize that losing weight is less about portion control and more about nourishment.  Our recipes typically are for one person, but some are double portions intended for leftovers used the next day on our meal plans.  Our goal is to have you eat until you feel full and satisfied with each snack and meal.  If you have a physically demanding job or are exercising regularly, portions and protein boosters should be adjusted. Work with your coach to customize your plan based on your results and preferences.

No worries! We have nationwide meal delivery and 200+ easy-to-make recipes.

Liquid Stevia is the approved sweetener on the program. It comes directly from the plant and is used in many recipes from our cookbook. “Sweet Leaf” is a brand we recommend; you can find it on amazon.com or Whole Foods. Both have a large selection of flavors.
