- in a medium saucepan, whisk all ingredients together over med-high heat. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to med-low and simmer for 15 – 20 minutes until thickened.
If you like a sweeter sauce, you can incrementally increase the amount of maple syrup until you reach the desired sweetness.
